Jun 12, 2008 (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear orangey brown with a bubbly, off-white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of roasted malt. Medium-bodied with roasted malts. Short and discreet bitterness in the finish. Not bad in any way, just not overly interesting. 050608

Jun 8, 2008 50 cL bottle, trade with kappldav123. Pours clear and golden amber with a fully diminished white head. Mild spiced and solid malt aroma with a light hoppy note. Flavour is medium to fully sweet breadish with a nice cornish note. Ends with light spiced and breadish finish.

May 22, 2008 Bügelverschlußflasche donated by kappldav !): Amber coloured, slowly collapsing off-white head, distinctive caramelly nose with some faint hoppy edges; medium-bodied, mainly sweet flavour; light traces of alcohol in the light sweet (toasted)- malty finish. Nice, but not really convincing...........

May 5, 2008 (swing top bottle) Clear, chestnut colour with a medium-sized light-beige frothy head of short persistence. Sweet and slightly beety/molassy toast-malty aroma with caramel. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Strong malty base, toasty and caramelly with a light molassy, but not too sweet nor too fat finish with a delicate but balancing hoppy bitterness. Aromatic Bock (05.05.08).

Apr 17, 2008 bottle, traded with kappldav123 - thanks a lot! Dark amber brown colour, meidum-sized head. Pleasant aroma of malt and roasetd malt. Full-bodied, slightly sweet, very malty with hints of roasted malt and caramel. Pleasant creamy mouthfeel - a very good Bock.
