Bügelverschlußflasche (donated by Kappldav123 !): Copper coloured, smaller white lacy head; caramelly and dark-malty nose with a good dash of roasted malt and a touch of "medical" hops; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, soft MF; toasted and sweet-caramelly finish, balanced by a light, but distinctive hoppiness. A fine, well balanced brew.........

(swing top bottle) Clear, amber colour with a big, diminishing, slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet, slightly toasted cara-malty aroma with nutty and light hoppy accents. Moderately sweet flavour with a rounded bitterness; unfortunately a bit slim bodied; soft carbonation. Toasty and slightly nutty malty taste with shy burnt edges; sweet-bitter, malt-accented finish with a delicate hops-character. A bit slim but still fine and rounded brew (28.04.08).

Bottle, thanks David. Deep golden, off-white creamy lacing head. Nice fat fruity nose. Medium to light strawmalt body, still a bit fruityness (apples, pears), grassy hops. Ok chewyness, sparkly mouthfeel. Quite drinkable.

bottle, traded with kappldav123. Clear amber colour, large and creamy head. Full-bodied, malty with flavours of roasetd malts and caramel. Aromatic hops, wel-balanced. Delicious.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Very malty, almost grasy aroma. Tastes very vapid and a little bit sourish. Not a good beer!
