mild brown appearance with slight white head. flavor has some pale malt characteristic with some hop bitterness pleasant throughout. not a particularly flavorful or good beer

Mar 16, 2008 $2.25 for a small eight ounce glass. A little more golden than the ubiquitous pale yellow american lager beer, but just as clear. Aroma is rather candy like. Nice thick white head that does not fade. Taste is rather friendly, lacking any hop bitter bite but has enough personality to let you know this you are drinken German style beer. Good tingly carbonation for a tap. Finish os mildly bitter and hangs for a while. Rather enjoyable, just what I was expecting for an alt. Nice beer from Penn. Only available on tap at the brewery.
