3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This one poured a murky medium brown color with a beige head. Aroma was a good bit of milk chocolate, and light roast, fairly inviting. Flavor was pretty much all chocolate and caramel, reminded me of that tootsie roll flavor I get from Young’s Solid.

Bottle to pint glass. Slight dark tan head with very little lacing. Heavy roasted coffee and chocolate aroma. Roasted chocolate flavor. Smooth. Not the best, but very good

on tap at city Swiggers - great toasted chocolate and cocoa nose; almost like the milk after a bowl of cocoa puffs. black pour with thin and dissipating tan head. bitter taste with thinner mouth feel and short finish. curious what it would be like on nitro. overall great chocolate stout you could drink all day.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft in Washington PA. Pours a deep brown color with a medium tan head. A rich nose of chocolates and coca. The flavor is a big milky chocolate forward beer with some ash. Very good. Nice example of the style.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
16oz draught. Half-finger, light brown sandy head dissolves in ten minutes over an opaque body and leaving a light, lacing ring. Aroma is chocolate, milky and classy - not faux coco puffs - with light roast. Taste is mildly sweet with a hint of salt and a bitter chocolate finish. Very light bodied with fine carbonation that is of medium to light volume with a slightly creamy palate. Overall, definitely better than Young’s and slightly better than Left-Hand Milk Stout.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Barley’s and Hop’s, Bethel Park, PA on 02/11/12. Poured black with a thick and creamy khaki head. LOADS of sweet chocolate milk in the aroma! Milk chocolate, lactose, cocoa powder, caramel, and a little roasted coffee were all in the nose. Went down full-bodied and silky-smooth. Tasted super sweet all the way through, but just managed to avoid being cloying. Malted milk chocolate, cream, and caramel were upfront in the flavor profile. Some bittering roasted coffee was present at the end. There was just a hint of a sour nuttiness noticeable as well. One of the better chocolate beers I’ve ever had. Quite impressive.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sampled on draft this beer poured a black color with a large creamy brown head that lingered forever and left great lacing. The aroma was somewhat bitter and toasty with notes of cookie dough, vanilla, cream and a touch of wood. The flavor was strong sweet vanilla, cream and marshmallow with light notes of chocolate syrup and cola. The finish was very long cream, vanilla and marshmallow. A bit thin in body but silky smooth. Well done.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours dark brown/black with light brown head. Medium rich chocolatey aroma. Palate is medium-full with a great chocolate flavor, like hot cocoa without being at all filling-could easily put down a pint or two, unlike many chocolate beers.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Solid brown, tan thin cover. Aroma is all chocolate, chocolate milk, very sweet. Taste is again milk chocolate, chocolate milk, sweet, solid chocolate flavor without much roast, reminds me of a less boozy Choklat.
