The good folks at Sharp Edge Creekhouse had a draught of this little beauty. Letís make a little critique sandwich. First, I liked the smell, the chocolate, roasted flavors, and the balance. But, it came off as a thin beer, almost like a chocolate porter instead. Again, a solid beer thatís most noticeable quality was in the moderation of strong flavors because I donít actually want a beer cut with chocolate milk, or a chocolate nib candy bar in my beer - I want a beer.

Nice aroma thick with cherries and chocolate. Black red color. A little tart and chocolate. Some chalky feel. Sweet but not syrupy. Tap.

Big sweet stout that is dark but has a nice head or lacing. Great chocolate taste with a little roast along with the mounds of chocolate.

Refrigerated 12oz. Brown bottle poured into a glass. Black with very small light brown head. Aroma is milk chocolate, medium body, lower carbonation, and little small bubble lacing. Taste is milk chocolate. Back to back with Terrapin Liquid Bliss, I prefer Liquid Bliss.

Bottle: Very dark brown with a small tan head. Chocolate fudge, cocoa, vanilla aroma. Sweet chocolate malt, vanilla flavour. Very tasty...though it comes across with BIG powdered chocolate attitude... A little artificial, but pretty good, anyway.

Bottle. Powdered milk chocolate, hay, and malt aroma. Dark brown with small tan head. Lightly sweet chocolate malt and mildly bitter herbal hay flavor. Good body. Tasty.

12 ounce bottle. Opaque black liquid. Bubbly tan head. Cocoa Puff malty nose with roasty notes. Slight sweet and tart chocolate malt flavor. Notes of caramel and herbal hops. Bittersweet chocolate finish.

Strong chocolate character on the nose. Appearance is a very dark brown with a small tan head. Flavor tastes like a chocolate wafer with a mild acidic bite on the backend. Mouthfeel is medium high with medium low carbonation. Overall, this beer is ok. The chocolate is there, but it tastes one dimensional. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Rather lack luster and forgettable. Expected more. Aroma was solid and appearance was average. Felt like it needed something more body wise. Kinda thin and light with less creaminess than I was looking for. Slightly fizzy in the mouth. Flavor was sweet but i thought i was going to get more chocolate. For some reason i kept making a connection to a cola. Wont be revisiting this one.

Dark brown with a brown head. Aroma of chocolate and a slight bit of coffee. Fairly light and easy drinking for a stout. Seems more like a porter. But overall pretty enjoyable if not slightly sweet stout/porter/whatever you want to call it.
