3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Almost black color with a dark brown pour. Flavors of milk chocolate, lactose, very little roast...but also a bit of an odd plastic flavor. Mostly good...but just a bit odd on the finish.

A dry American chocolate is prominent. Bottle from Capone’s. The aroma is terrific. Bittersweet. A little thin. Still a dessert beer.

Bottle. Powdered milk chocolate, hay, and malt aroma. Dark brown with small tan head. Lightly sweet chocolate malt and mildly bitter herbal hay flavor. Good body. Tasty.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. Pours teakwood, with a litle nipple of dark brown at the bottom of the Stone IPA glass, and a 2-finger tan frothy well-retained head. Nose is huge dark choc syrup, roasty dark malt. Tastes a bit thin of body; with a big dark chocolte flavor, smooth sweetness, and an overall dessert beer essence.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft in Washington PA. Pours a deep brown color with a medium tan head. A rich nose of chocolates and coca. The flavor is a big milky chocolate forward beer with some ash. Very good. Nice example of the style.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a flat black body under a small fizzy light brown head that faded quickly. The nose is super chocolaty and sweet with some rich roasty malt. The flavor is just as sweet and full of milk chocolate as you could hope for. If tastes like a candy bar in a glass. No bitterness or burnt notes at all, just tons of milk chocolate. Medium bodied and a bit clingy with soft fizzy carbonation. Nice beer for about 6 ounces, then I could pass on the rest.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sampled on draft this beer poured a black color with a large creamy brown head that lingered forever and left great lacing. The aroma was somewhat bitter and toasty with notes of cookie dough, vanilla, cream and a touch of wood. The flavor was strong sweet vanilla, cream and marshmallow with light notes of chocolate syrup and cola. The finish was very long cream, vanilla and marshmallow. A bit thin in body but silky smooth. Well done.

This one poured a murky medium brown color with a beige head. Aroma was a good bit of milk chocolate, and light roast, fairly inviting. Flavor was pretty much all chocolate and caramel, reminded me of that tootsie roll flavor I get from Young’s Solid.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Deep dark brown coloured body with a nice thick, four centimetre tall strong brown coloured head. Aroma of pure chocolate - both dark and milk chocolates with some strong roasted malt, a hint of coffee and spices and a solid nuttiness. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong roasted malt flavour is second fiddle to the pungent and nice chocolate flavours with a great body and slightly syrupy feel. Aftertaste shows some nuts, pit fruits, raisins, roasted earthy malts and of course a lot of chocolate - very nice. Overall, a very good beer with tons of flavour and a rich, syrupy feel that’s perfect for the autumn/winter time - it was even good in the middle of summer, which is when I had it! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle pulled from a Penn Brewing mixed twelve pack, purchased in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 17-July-2013 by Ed - thanks!
