3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a dark color similar to Guinness. It has a nice smooth taste but not a whole lot of body. Not too much bitterness and had a nice aftertaste.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle from ABC on Apalachee. Red-brown pour with thin off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, dark fruit. Tastes are toffee, grain, burnt vibe, faint chocolate. Doesn’t taste bad by any means - just light and watery.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 ounce bottle poured into a brandy snifter. Pours a dark brown to black with a greyish head of foam that dissipates quickly down to a ring around the perimeter of the glass. The aroma is roasty and sweet with a bit of a flintstone vitamin going on. The beer is on the sweeter, roasty aide of things. Still, that flintstone vitamin aroma and taste are fairly distracting and seem to be keeping me from enjoying this beer to its fullest.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark brown colored pour. Small off-white head that lasts for a good bit. Little bit of lacing. Malty aroma with a slight chocolate note and a small roasty presence. Malty flavor with some roast and chocolate. Slightly bitter, but retains some of the malty sweetness. Pretty good.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear dark amber with a light head cover and splotches of lace. The taste starts with a clean, water-based full-bodied roasted caramel malt with very light licorice and dried fruit mixing in through the palate. The finish has light bittering. Overall, a standard issue dunkel, nothing working against it, nothing helping it stand out.
