POurs cloudy gold. With notes of malt and hops and the corn and deep grain flavors sow on the palate. It does drink very crisp and dry.

Mildly cloudy gols, thn what head. Corny and grain aroma, corna and grain taste. Maybe some vaguely stale notes, too. Rather nondescript.

12 oz bottle. Seems to be a wide range of opinion on this one., Sweet grain malt aroma. Flavor is right on style for a Dortmunder, and seemed better than most to me. Sweet grain malt and lager flavors. A light touch of lemon. Nice medium to light body but not watery. Fresh and clean tasting. Drinkable and pleasant.

Pretty average helles-style lager, dark golden in color with a big fluffy white head, nice lacing, nose of bread, yeast, light hop & lemon, very smooth & drinkable, light flavors of hops, lemon & bread, grainy finish

On draught at Penn brewery on 6/3/07. Usually a very clean Helles, when fresh at the brewery this beer turns into a whole nother beer. The subtle yeasty notes really turn this from your standard helles into something much more meaningful, yeast is good no matter what the style and it’s alway fun to see a lager with a little more depth.

Light aroma features grassy hops and lightly sweet malt/cereal grains. The body is a pale golden yellow and holds a very lasting, two finger thick pale white head. Nice looking beer. Sweetish fore has malt, cereal a very light hop presence. That sweetness lingers well into the finish. Almost hints at vanilla. Deceptively tasty and grows on you as you sip. Light bodied, as I’d expect for the style, but not watery and flavorless like most beers that claim this style.

Couldn’t finish it. Watery, lacking anything worth discussing. Is this made by Bud?

Pour a pee gold with a thin one finger head. Aroma of grain/corn. Taste of the same. Ice cold this is perfect for the summer. Other than that....get something with more taste.
