2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
355ml bottle thanks frank. Clear gold pour with a industrial-looking white head. This smells like a pale lager more than a Munich light lager. It has a sharp herbalness from noble hops, but otherwise it smells bleachy and watery. Maybe almost sarsaparilla. The flavor is undoubtedly all-malt but as if pabst changed thier recipe to be all malt. It is also a bit oxidized. It is not a Munich-style beer, and a mediocre to decent amero pale lager.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
This is not an ideal lager. It tastes okay but has a distinct hint of banana and clove phenols that should not be there at all and donít really work with the earthy bitterness. Itís a bit sweet but not too heavy due to fairly vigorous carbonation. This is not even close to style but I suppose it is fairly drinkable.
