brandyish initially, molasses, then dark malts with some dark malts. Some of these sweeter ingrediants comprise the aroma. Dark color. Above average carbonation. Comes together like a malty ovaltine tasting. Smooth beverage and drink. Bit of bitterness on aftertaste.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2006 12 oz bottle from Beer World of Largo
The aroma presents grassy hops and loads mild caramel malt as it warms. Rich amber in color with a perfect thumb thick, quite lasting, creamy white head. The sweet fore is smooth with malts and even some mild nutty notes and a bit of toffee throw in. Very lively, tongue tickling carbonation. It’s pretty damn tasty and has a great feel to it. Damn nice beer.

From tap @ Penn Brewery
Poured a dark copper with a nice fluffy white head. Aroma sweet caramel. Flavor malty, with sweet caramel notes, and toasted nuts. I picked up a ever so slight hop character in the finish as it warmed. Carbonation good. Medium bodied. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel.

Draft Pours a clear amber with decent off white head. Aroma of sweet nutty carmel. Taste is mild and smooth. A real nice mix of malts and hops. Light bodied but solid. Good carbonation and a refreshing palete. A nice light aftertaste. A very refreshing beer.
