COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full bodied fest beer, amber colored, very smooth, Original Gravity: 13.5, made from a variety of roasted malts, 2-row pilsner malt and imported Hallertau hops. One of Michael Jackson’s 24 favorite American beers.

The aroma is faint with grassy hops, mustard?, and caramel malt. The appearance is amber with lots of small particles floating about. The head is foamy and large. The flavor is not bad. It’s simple but decent enough with a slightly spicy and nutty character but very malty. The palate is thin and well carbonated. The aftertaste is bitter. A decent beer but there are problems.

12 bottle traded w/ Schwarzbock: Lasting cream colored head on an orangey/amber body. Toasted malt aroma with green apples both strong, but toasty wins out as it warms. Light floral hop and hints of caramel; no fruitiness. Flavor is toasted malt up front w/a hint of roasted flavor & a bit on the bitter side...Actually very much so. Also a bit grainy and harsh w/ a bitter dry finish. Aftertaste is grainy & toasted malt. Dry/astringent m/f, lighter medium body, medium carbonation. A bit too harshly bitter for my palate. Seems to be a decent enough beer, but the high level of bitterness takes away from my enjoyment a little bit.

A dark amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with nice hoppy notes. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel, as well as lighter notes of hops. OK, but hoppier than Your usual Märzen.

Pours copper with an off white head that has ok retention. Somewhat moldy aroma, some sweet malt and yeast. The flavor holds yeast, light caramel malt and perhaps a bit of grapefruit. Light and malty over the tounge with a bittersweet/sour finish. Pretty sturdy overall.

brandyish initially, molasses, then dark malts with some dark malts. Some of these sweeter ingrediants comprise the aroma. Dark color. Above average carbonation. Comes together like a malty ovaltine tasting. Smooth beverage and drink. Bit of bitterness on aftertaste.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear, dark amber with a creamy, off-white head. Lightly caramelish nose. Medium-bodied with sweet, caramelish malt and notes of overripe fruit - perhaps some apricot. Lightly hoppy finish. 300406
