Bottle from my hometown thanks to Beerman6686, drank during a Steelers game. Pours a crystal clear copper color with a small white head. A light aroma of grains and some honey. The flavor is pretty decent; sweet grains/wheat and some lightly toasted malts. Pretty simple and crisp. Light hops. Decent.

Aroma is slightly caramelly, with whiff of grassiness. Appearance is a bit cloudy, orange-gold with a thin head. Flavor starts with that touch of caramel, mellows to multigrain bread, and finishes with a restrained hop note. Palate is medium--appropriate for a Marzen. Overall, a nice example of one of my favorite styles.

Brewed in the USA !!! (KSBF) Pours a mild amber color with a dissipating white head. The aroma is malty with a hint of spices. The taste is malty and sweet !!! Average oktoberfest, but very drinkable.

Clear orange amber, and the small white head disappears fast. Plastic and slight diacetyl mar what is otherwise a simple malty aroma. Slick oily mouthfeel and low carbonation. Thin, insubstantial body makes it a typical bar beer. A little plastic but slight. Sweet malt predominates. Low level of complexity. Some breadiness.

Bottle – Perfect Pour. Clear light amber, creamy white head. Toasted sweet caramel malt nose warms to honey bread notes and faint hints of pepper. Grainy toasted caramel flavor rounds with slight saaz hop finish. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Decent, but nothing spectacular here…

Tap at the KSBF 08- Gold lager traditional foam head. Nice malt body, smooth with a good blend of hops and grains. Nothing over the top but a good all around drinker.

On tap at KSBF ’08. An all around average Oktoberfest. Looks, smells, and tastes exactly the way you expect one to. Not very exciting but a decent rendition.
