Strong aroma is crisp and malty with a fruity undertone, mainly apple plus some pear. Pours a clear, bubbly amber with a thick, fluffy ivory head. Malty flavor has hoppy and fruity hints, typical but still pleasing. Smooth texture has a fair amount of tingle and firmness. Prost!

Bottle. This bottle is a little old which is a caveat on this rating. The aroma is very faintly of malts and caramel. The appearance is golden caramel with a very thin head on the pour. The taste is all malt a faint metallic finish. It is a little thin on the palette for the style. Overall a middling Marzen at best.

Pours a translucent gold with a thin, white head that quickly fades. Weak lacing. Subtly sweet aroma. Lightly effervescent mouthfeel. Unobtrusive, bordering on weak, flavor. Neither offensive nor memorable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for the Daystrom M-5

Hazy yellow orange color with lots of effervescents. Thin white lacing. Classic musky aroma with a slight green/citrus note. Smooth palate with a crisp finish. Bitter finish sticks around a little longer than most other Oktoberfest style beers. Good but not great for the style.

A little thin but with the requisite chewy grain and and toasty caramel malt. Grassy hops, nice, smooth, and easy to drink.

Draft at Sharp Edge in Pittsburgh. Pours a clear yellow-orange with a small white head. The aroma and flavor are both light, but more so the nose. Notes of crackers, straw, toast, bread, caramel, and a hint of grass. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a crisp mouthffeel. Not much to it.

Growler. kInd of briny not too pleasant smell. Cloudy orange look..with a taste that is heavy on malt..but not enough fall flavor for me. Not my favorite.
