Aroma is of barley and cherry licquer. Clear dark amber, thin vanishing head. Buckets of cherry flavor with a lesser malt base. Vanilla finish. Thin to medium body. Surprisingly good, especially for the price.

although not the easiest style to rate very highly, usually mild in flavor and strength, not the most unique color or aroma, this is typical oktoberfest, a little buttery which is nice.

12oz bottle. Heavy aroma of bread dough, notes of floral. Pours orange with a nice film. Tastes of sour dough, grass, and copper. Not the best Mouthfeel. Not very good.

Not the best beer to celebrate the harvest, but it’s a local brew and I’ll refrain from any criticisms since the brewery is just down the street from my house.

Draft at Quaker Steak. Pours brown with an inch of white foam. Big bubble gum on the nose. Nice caramel notes on the tongue. Clean finisher. Pleasantly surprised.

[Bottle] Pours an even amber color with a quickly receding white head. Dry and grainy nose. Toasted malt and sweet caramel notes in the taste. A mild grassy finish. The body here was a little light. Nice carbonation levels. The alcohol is noticeable in here. A pretty run of the mill beer overall.

Coppery color with a thinnish tan head. Malty with a bit of sweetness and spice (nutmeg, cinnamon). Not bad.

12oz bottle from beer of the month club. Pours orangish amber with an off-white head. Aromas of caramel, light fruits, and bready malts. Flavors of bready malts, caramel, little bit of grassy hop note. Not a bad oktoberfest, but I liked Bells version that I had last night more.

Sample at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell on 09/23/2011. Clear orange pour with lively carbonation and a thick eggshell white head that burns away steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of bready malt and caramel. Light effervescent body with flavors of caramel, toasted malt and mild hops. The finish is sweet and malty. Average overall.
