Poured a golden hay color with a nice frothy head.Lots of malt tones.Malty with some nice carbonation.I would say this was a step above a lawnmower beer, more like a nice autmn watch the leaves turn color brew.

11/15/2007: Penn Penndemonium is transparent and dark gold with lively carbonation and a frothy thin white head. It has a malty and lightly buttery aroma. The sweet flavor has sugary malt and light caramel. There isn’t a lot, if any, bitterness. This beer is soft, mellow, and really drinkable. Overall it has a nice sweetness and is very enjoyable. I think that this is another slightly underrated beer.
22 fl. oz. bottle from mcbackus via trade in September 2006. Rating #93 for this beer.

Golden pour. Sweet aroma of apples and pears. Flavor was all fruit. Apples, bananas, pears and vanilla. Drinkable. Nothing outstanding.

Skunky, big skunk bomb. Rice and beans and meat taste with some more skunk.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 hotstuff (3213) - Indiana, USA - MAR 18, 2009
Bottle from Total Wine & More (Ft. Myers, FL). Poured a small white head with poor retention span, transparent, visible carbonation, one ring of lacing, and a yellow hue. The aroma was grainy, malty, sweet, fruity, some spice, and a hint of hops. The flavor was sweet, malty, fruity, toffee, and had some crispness to it. The mouthfeel was tingly and is a medium bodied beer. An easy to drink beer, nothing really knocked my socks off about this beer as it is definitely not a beer that is high on my list of one of the better beers that I have drank/rated, but it was somewhat refreshing on a hot humid sunny Southwest Florida afternoon.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 MAP (1133) - Lakewood, Ohio, USA - MAR 14, 2009
Bottle purchased at Chucks Fine Wine in Chagrin Falls. The bock pours a slightly hazy orange body with a thin, quickly disappearing head. Aroma is fruity with a thin bit spicy clove and pepper. Orange and lemon are mixed with a decent bit of grassy scent. Flavor is very impressive. Its sweetness is pretty smooth and fill the mouth with the bock-y blend of sweet malt, grassy sugar and a little bit of clove. Pretty good stuff, would have been divine at the brewery over dinner.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Acetobacter (816) - Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 26, 2009
Enjoyed via 750ml bottle. Pours a medium gold color, with a substantial head. Nose is very slight, less malty than what one would expect from a bock of any sort. Medium-full on the palate. Flavor is somewhat balanced, with neither malt or hops dominating. Overall, not an unenjoyable experience, but not worth the retail price.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Ughsmash (5633) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 30, 2008
Bomber. Poured brighter, medium golden with a short cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up strong corny adjuncts and pale malts with lesser toasted caramel behind (not saying they adjuncted it up, but it smelled that way).. greener hops and phenols as accents. The flavor was equally abrasive with rockin’ boozy notes throughout.. corn syrup and pale malts at the core.. spicier floral hops gave a nice bit of character.. finished with alcohol-based cleanser. Medium-bodied with low carbonation on the palate.. this thing moved through the mouth with the smooth elegance of a rabid beast.
