COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Something has gone terribly wrong (or terribly right depending on your view) in the Brewhouse. One of the brewers must have added too much malt to the mash and made a very strong beer. Stronger than your used to from the brewery that makes authentic German styles. This super strong beer has put the whole place in a state of pandemonium.

- The beer is golden colored but very heavy with alcohol of about 8% by volume. It’s dangerously easy to drink, so as the bottle label states: “You’ve been warned.”

UPDATED: OCT 9, 2007 Bottle from Corridor in Laurel, MD. Nice label. Pours a pale straw golden with a white head. Very slight syrupy texture. Aroma of european pale malts, honey, spicy hops, and a tad amount of alcohol. Initial flavor of straw and biscuit that transitions to a peppery and spicy hop middle. Unpleasant bitterness carries through to the finish, which is joined by lots of rubbing alcohol. Easy to drink? Hardly. I am not going to finish this. Good for getting drunk I guess This tastes like something big burly bikers would drink.

Pale golden beer with a frothy, sticky lace - aroma of honey, lavender and other soft, flowery, scented soap kind of smells - pretty weak in the flavor department - mediu sweet, with a balancing tart character - some grainy flavor and very light floral notes, but beyond that there really isn’t anything going on here - boring.

Dark golden-hued body with a big, big-bubbled head. Medium carbonation. It has an interesting, kind of sourish aroma, paired with some floral notes and stale hops. Kind of sweet and sticky in the finish. The malts come out in the flavor, which also has a little bit it citrus going on. Just OK for me.

Pours a medium amber with little head. Aroma is super sweet and not very hoppy. Flavor is more of the same; lots of caramely and syrupy sweetness and some alcohol burn, mild hoppiness. Just okay.

RedHaze (371) - Where the hell am I?, Nebraska, USA - SEP 23, 2007
22oz bottle Pours a very bright and clear golden color with a one finger head that fades quickly to a thin swirling head and ring. The resulting lacing is thin, and tattered, but sticks well. Smell; lots of sweet malts with caramel, bread dough and a little sugar. Some mild fruits come through as this warms with some peaches. Taste; fro the most part the flavor follows the aroma, with caramel, bread dough malts. Then the fruits come out with peaches and and, oddly enough, slightly green bananas. The alcohol is only noticeable as a warming in the back of the throat and in my belly. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, and a little syrupy with a very low/smooth carbonation. The drinkability is pretty high especially with the big alcohol content. Overall this is a decent beer, but not something I would ever seek out again.

I really wasn’t crazy about this beer...a little too alcoholic. I don’t know if I would be too fast to try this again.

clear dark gold, wispy head, sweet candy caramel aroma with a hint of earthyness, sticky candy caramel sweet malt flavor, a touch of earthy hops adds not really any balance but instead a bit of complexity,
