I may have gotten an old bottle because this one just seemed off the whole time. Light herbal notes, and sweet malts in the aroma. Didn’t taste very good, either. I picked up some crisp hops but they were overshadowed by an odd off flavor that annoyed me to the end. Smooth bodied. Meh, no thanks.

pint @ Tyler’s Apex. Ok aroma, Sweet, lite overall, little peppery hops, seltzer, cardboard a corny streak to it. Clear yellowy gold color, small head,no lace. Bitter finish, like aroma, but some how was a notch better. Lost the corn I got in aroma. Lite body, watery mouthfeel, crisp bitter finish. Ok, easy to drink, like the crispness on the finish the best

The flagship beer from Penn Brewery, and it’s a remarkable Pilsner. This one is done right and would find a regular home in my fridge if it were more available. Powerful hop nose providing a spicy/peppery aroma from an abundance of noble hops. Hints of bread and caramel also come into play. A sparking rich copper color with a fluffy, lasting head and very thick lacing. Good bitterness atop a fresh filling malty body. Clean, crisp and delightful on the palate. Flavors of sweet baked bread, nuts, hay. Plenty of floral and spicy hop notes with a slight hint of citrus. There is plenty of depth found in this great beer, top notch and surprisingly delicious.

Aroma is standard hop and malts, typical of this style. It’s a nice golden color with a nice white head. It tastes nice and hopped, with mild hoppieness, and rich medium dark malt. It’s very smooth. A nice session
