Beer of the month club. Thought this was really good. Not as crisp as I would have expected, but the smoothness and light sweetness make up for it. Nice brew.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 mgumby10 (1856) - Jupiter, Florida, USA - JAN 27, 2008
Pours a clear gold color with a small white head. Has all the familiar smells of a vienna or pilsner. Some light citrus and cinnamon notes, with some crisp grain as well. The flavor was light and easy drinkiing. A good dose of sweetness to the flavor which was a little unusual. Decent at its very best, could drink a couple on a hot day, but not their best offering by any means.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 mephisto (1252) - TAIWAN - NOV 16, 2007
clear copper with white head, the aroma is fresh hops mixed with caramel accent. it has a malt profile that is unique to munich malt; the mouthfeel is roasty and slightly sweet. just enough hoppiness to balance the brew.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Lowe1983 (1226) - Dayton, Ohio, USA - OCT 30, 2007
Pours a light amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is pretty light of grass, floral hops, and sweet malts. Flavor is mostly malts. Caramel malts dominate with grass and a finish of floral hops. Not that good.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 shintriad (700) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 29, 2007
Strawberry blonde, clean-looking, two fingers of soapy head. Light oaty smell with some hop funk, underlying fruit sweetness in nose. Starts dry, with bready malts, good bitterness with a slightly industrial quality -- very metallic finish. Very authentically German. Vienna? I don’t know about that.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 hopson (633) - Williamsville, New York, USA - OCT 29, 2007
bottle- sweet, not as crisp or hoppy as I like my pilsners, and not the best example of the style. Eh.
