Bottle. Amber, with a thin head. Nice malt aroma with a very fruity aroma for a lager. Medium body and very smooth. A bit oily. But, for a lager, this has a great fruity taste.

Very nice orange color. Rather carbonated, though small bubbles, fast-fading head. Caramel aroma, malty palate. Not much here but good session - style.

Beerdedone (2188) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 1, 2006
Sampled at the brewfest in Adamstown. Pours copper with a white head. Aroma of caramel, sweet malts, and hops. The flavor is sweet malts and a bitter hoppy finish.

Drank with Stegosaurus and Beereded_one at Newton brew fest. Poured a dark gold with decent head. A little thin for my taste but not a bad brew. Every beer the Penn company had there was decent.

Bottle. Pours wit an amber color. I agree with those that remarked that this is not a pils. As we were drinking it, the consensus was that it is more like a Pale Ale. It is lacking the classic mustiness. Instead it is more flowery and hoppy, with hints of grapefruit. It is quite good though.

sheatripper (863) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - OCT 18, 2006
Bottle. Poured amber with a quickly diminishing head. Malty honey-nut cereal aroma and flavor with a bit of a lemony/herbal hop finish. Not a pilsner after all. This is like any given American style Oktoberfest which is at the present time taking up way too much shelf space.

golden copper appearance with pale head, malty nose, taste starts and fniishes malty, rather well balanced, decent beer
