COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship brand! An amber Vienna-style lager beer that is smooth, mellow and full bodied, with delicate hop aroma. Uses two-row barley malt and caramel-roasted malt. Based on founder Tom Pastorius' favorite German bier.

12 oz bottle. Pours pale yellow with a nice white head. Smells mellow slight hop and malt smell. Tastes a little grainy, with some hop bitterness. An easy drinking beer.

Bottle 355 ml
Appearance: pours as clear dark golden brew. Medium long lived mid dense top.
Nose: Clean , fresh properly constructed pils aroma. Meadow like hop profile often found in Bavarian and Bohemian lagers. Very neat refreshing softness.
Flavor/Palate : Medium light bodied. Golden malt bottom. Not to heavy with delicate yet pronounced hops. Very drinkable amber pils from Penn Brewery. Pleasant surprise.
As of Feb 2009 this beer is higly underrated.

Bottle and tap. I’ve had some bad experiences with the bottles. Comes out somewhat flat with no head. On tap, nice and fizzy with a decent head. Flavor is decent of the style, but there are so many pils out there that are better.

Flowery smell, with a bit of head. There is a murky golden color. There is weak flavor, but good after tones. Quality pilsner.

12oz. Pours a pale golden. Everything makes sense now that this is in fact a Vienna and not Pilsner. Short, malty body with a soft carbonation that I am just not very fond of.

Bottle at Mad Mex - Monroeville. Pours a clear orange/amber, very small, disappearing off-white head. Aroma is subdued malt, grass and maybe some earthy notes. Flavor is a sweet but slight caramel, cereal and very vague hops. Clean and crisp.

12oz bottle. A sentimental favorite since I drank alot of these beers in times long gone by. Nice straight forward flavorful lager.

Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Grainy malt aroma with light hops. The flavor is light but well balanced, with light grain and some hops, followed by a short finish.
