It only lacks the last bit of complexity the best German examples provide. I only wish I would’ve tried this sooner! gsmitty80 (638), Washington DC, USA

I typically like wheat beers, but this one stands out. Pleasing gold color with an off-white head. Flavor was good throughout. Definitely complimented the meal. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Dec 30, 2006 This weizen poured a clear yellow with a bright white head. Scents include the usual weiner/bologna scent that usually comes from these kinds of beer. Along with that a little citrus and a small amount of spice. First taste was extremely carbonated with the flavours of weiners. Full blown flavour of yeast though. Yeasty flavour carries right on through the palate to the end.
