Very true to the tradition! Murky with a thick head. Plenty of bananas in the nose. Bananas in the palate along with wheat and citrus. Nicely done. cheapdark (2016), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA

It has a rememberable flavor, almost like a lager. I just about want to classify this as a typical pale yellow american beer. Same color and flavors but is just a little bit cloudy. Does not compare to franziskaner or other hefes I’ve tasted. Nice fizzy bite with a touch of bitterness on the finish. A little rough when compared to real hefe-weizens or white beers. Poured a large white head with aroma of yeast and wheat. Mostly wheat flavor with hint of citrus. I then added alittle lemon and it was very enjoyable. Nice, thick head. Not as fruity as other hefeweizens I’ve tried. More yeast and wheat in the flavor. Lots of wheat, actually. Fruit notes: orange mainly, cloves, small spicy qualities. Good mouthfeel, a little heavier than I expected. I was satisfied. Numenor (869), Richmond, Virginia, USA
