Aroma of orange (tart). Flavor is almost gueze like, rather than a hefeweizen; quite tart, but not spoiled tasting. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 24, 2006 Slightly hazy golden body with big off-white foam that disappears quickly. Aroma is medium sweet, clove and wheat. Taste is older bananas up front, turning wheat and clove before lemon tart. Light body, fairly crisp, with good carbonation. Cletus (5052), Connecticut, USA

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jan 24, 2006 I do not think this would pass the purity laws for this style. Tastes like it had alot of adjuncts, much darker in character thatn I would expect, and the taste is quite sweet. Way to doughy tasting, and not true to style. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 26, 2005 Decent sized head of large bubbles. Excellent carbonation. Light and fruity aroma with apricots, oranges and a bit of yeastyness. Color is a slightly cloudy dark orange. Flavor is metallic at first and then diverges in to a syrupy sweet palate. Quite unexpected. Does not really follow with the style. Should be cleaner, crisper and drier. This is a much thicker than expected and pretty sweet. Now that I dredged up the wheat and yeast from the bottom it is pretty gritty. Mostly malts with some rice, light fruit and wheat. Finish is thick and coating. Not a good example of the style and not a very good beer. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Dec 18, 2005 Very mild banana esters with plenty of pastry doughlike yeast character in the nose. Opaque mily yellow coloured body is topped by a low white head that is mostly diminishing. Flavour is a somewhat bland doughy banana yeastiness with no spices apparent and very little in the way of wheat character. Light body with fizzy carbonation that does not last. Sampled on the PA trip 2005. dirtymike (2018), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA
