pretty good hefeweizen. Aroma wasnt great, full of wheat, lime, and lemon, some clove. The flavor was clove, lemon, and lime. The body was a hazy golden orange. There was little head.

On tap at the Oldsmar Tap House on 6/6/08. Pours clear golden with a thick white head that settles quickly. Reasonable head retention. Aroma is citrus, hoppy bitterness, whole grain and incense. Flavor is sweet grain, citrus, and lemon peel with lively carbonation and a quick, slightly watery finish.

One of my beer of the month club selections. Rather robust and spicy clove is present. The hops are very noticeable. Interesteing beer.

I love a good hefeweizen. I felt as though this one did the job quite well. From the banana and clove esters to the "perfectly" clouded appearence. the finish was smooth with a hint of citrus without the usual sting...nice touch!

pours slightly cloudy with a nice lacy head. smell is overwhelming of apples and pears. taste is mildly yeasty at first, but finishes with a light spiceness and a quick hit of bitter floral and citrus. a nice variation on the hefe.

BOTM, Cloudy yellow, a plop of yeast that came out of the bottom of the bottle caused it to be very cloudy. thin white head that lasted a while. Crisp mouth feel. KI didn’t get the banana that every once else did, but coincidentally I had eaten a banana for lunch not 20 minutes earlier. Who knows! All in all a decent brew.
