| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 10, 2005 From the bottle this pours a dull orange, cloudy with a tall small-bubbled white head. Citrus and spice aroma with wheat and yeastiness. Taste comes through with a crisp citrus bit up front, followed by a yeasty eastery spice finish. Nice sweetness throughout finished off by a crisp finish. Nice banana esters keep it in the refreshing german style. BBB63 (4283), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 13, 2004 Hazy golden hue with large fluffy white head and good lace. The aroma hints of clove, banana, wheaty and yeasty zing, very mild lemon, and grassy hops. The taste is citric and spicy at the forefront with a layer of ripe fruits undertone. A bitter component sneaks up on the finish as does some out of place sourness. Medium-bodied with a smooth yet refreshing mouthfeel, a touch metallic. A would like to see a bit more lemon character, but overall, one of the better American Hefes I have had in a while, try it. DragonStout (1386), Pataskala, Ohio, USA

It only lacks the last bit of complexity the best German examples provide. I only wish I would’ve tried this sooner! biznizness (959), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA

I like the weissbiers, and it’s pretty hard to run across really good ones here in the states, but this one was awesome. It was really sweet, but it wasn’t too sweet. Just went down so easy, it just made you smile. Excellent hefeweizen.
