Bottle @ ORL throwdown, courtesy of mcbackus. Dark brown body, quite clear with a thin cream colored head. Smoke, peat, a lot of caramel and a hint of roast. Tastes much the same with a lot of caramel and kissed with peat/smoke. Nice mouthfeel, light carb, some astringent drying on the palate from the smoke. Good!

Sampled at Paul’s Hoboken gathering, I think this was shared by JCWattsrugger. Lightly hazy deep reddish brown in color. Aroma: peat smoke, molasses, earth. Taste has smooth caramel/molasses with a good amount of peat smoke. Nice medium body, alcohol well hidden. Very nice.

Bottle... SMAACMSM O-Town Throwdown, Part Sept... Mostly clear, burnt orange ale with a mid-sized, creamy, khaki head. Good, tight retention. Smoke and caramel notes stand out in the nose. Full-bodied with a 2%-milk mouthfeel and mild carbonation. Sweet caramel and toffee with no semblance of balance. Lightly smoky. Lingering sweetness in the finish. Muchos gracias to mcbackus for bringing this one along!
