Sep 26, 2007 12oz bottle. Poured a deeper ruby red color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, citrus, light roast, earthy and some dark fruits. Very interesting. Tastes of roasted and toasted caramel, bready, and earthy.

Dec 31, 2007 Bottle… Clear copper ale with a small, creamy, white head. Earthy, citric aroma includes caramel, grapefruit and a whisper of evergreen. Barely medium-bodied and ascerbic with middling carbonation. Nicely balanced with moderate caramel sweetness and judicious, tannic, grapefruit rind and pith bitterness. Finishes crisp, mildly bitter and then bone-dry. Cheers to mcbackus for floating this bottle my way!

Some roast aroma. Dark coloured and slightly strong in alcohol with some bitterness in a crisp roast malt finish.

Dec 26, 2006 12 oz bottle-pours a foamy tan head and mahogany/deep red/brown color. Aroma is dark malt-sweet. Taste is dark malt-sweet, maybe cherry. Secondary hops, toasty. OK carbonation.
