A great session beer with a smooth and creamy texture and a fantastic hoppy aftertaste

Good session ale and a lot more flavour than the Real Blonde. Notes of cereal, hoppy, not bad. Can’t remember all that much of it, but it was decent.

Cask (Fitzgeralds, Sunderland) - Amber in colour. Biscuity malt, earthy hops and dried fruit in the aroma. Caramel, dried fruit and earthy hops in the taste.

Cask at White Cross Inn Beer Festival 2014. Clear amber ale with thick white head. Nose is hoppy with a little lemon and peach. Taste is sweet and cereal with touches of peach and pear.

Cask. Amber, head disappears really quickly. Nose is earth, sweet malts, some hops. Taste is sweet fruit, peach rings, bread. Really watery.

On cask at The York Tap. Pours a dark golden colour with a decent white head. Aroma of yeast, apple seed and caramel. Similar flavours with mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Mildly bitter but too yeasty for my tastes.

Amber colour with a white head. Smell of sweet caramel malt. Light thin body. Taste of a simple watery caramel malt that lacks any character with a watery hop bitter finish. Not very interesting at all.

Hand pulled at the Devonshire Cat, Sheffield. Sweet cereal ale. Perfectly pleasant, but thoroughly boring. Drinkable, unexciting amber. Non-discernible, uninteresting hop flavour.
