When it comes to ale’s I am not a big brown ale fan, but this one really surprised me. It has the right amount of malts and a great after taste that always has me getting it again when I visit

2.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This draft brew from a restaurant poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a uncarbonated transparent red brown colored body and a poor lacing. The weak aroma was hoppy and brown malt. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. The good flavor contained notes of wood nutty brown malt and hops. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

From notes - pint pour, hazelnut brown with amber notes. Nose comes in nutty with coffee, espresso, cocoa? mildly roasted. Notes of vinegar, also. The flavor wasn’t amazing, coming in with vinegar in the front. Malts are pleasantly roasted with notes of coffee and nuttiness. Medium to lighter in body.
