Tap at the source. Pours opaque black with a medium, creamy light tan head, long retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, and roast malt, prunes, raisins, lactose and earthy hops. Flavor is dark malt, lactose, dark fruits and a dry finish. Full body and medium carbonation.

On tap at the brewery. Nose is big roasted coffee notes, tons of chocolate, caramel, and cocoa. Pour is black with an off-white head. Flavor is mainly roasted malts, coffee, and cocoa powder. Bitter finish. Pretty good.
