3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rated from notes taken 28 Dec 2012 -- This growler sat in my parents fridge, sealed for 3 months before I could get my hands on it. It held up incredibly well. Translucent copper color malty scent. Great doppelbock flavors and finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewery. Pretty nice, although there’s minimal belgian or german features (my notes?). Surprising amount of sweet chocolate reminds me more of a mild brown ale.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at the Pensacola Bay Brewery Taproom, Pensacola, FL.
Dark reddish brown colour with a small light tan head.
Hops, malt and lots of sweetness in the aroma. But it's not that simple. And it's tasty. Sweet malt, alcohol, sweet hops and some bitterness. Quite complex actually. Tasty.
