Refreshing and tart. Made with Bohemian pilsner malt, white wheat, and Mt. Hood hops. Napolean himself dubbed the Berliner Weisse Ale the Northern Champagne. You will create your own endless summer with a pint of our DeSoto Berliner Weisse Ale brewed with raspberries.

Draft at the Syb Pig. Snifter. Pours like a pilsner with a fluffy white head. Aroma of wheat, raspberries, tartness, bread. The taste though was oddly mild. Almost nothing. Little sourness. Nothing great.

Tap at the Atlas with some Sushi -- Light-ish pink color with lacing. Flavor is thin but all of the aspects of a great Berliner are there, just ... light. Wish it had more pop to it.

Crowler from Craft to Go in PCB during spring break. Pours a pink-gold color with a white head. Very light, dusty grain aroma with a hint of raspberry. Thin flavor with just a hint of raspberry that really bears little resemblance to a proper Berliner Weisse. Not bad but a category miss.

Really buttery, thick, no raspberry flavor, just color. Lots of diacetyl, slight tartness but nothing to write home about

Bottle. Pours a hazy red orange with medium frothy off white head that leaves sticky lacing. The aroma is raspberry seed, wheat, and light funk. Thin mouth feel with nice tart raspberry and wheat, crisp, crushable, good.

Draft... Pours murky and caramel-colored with flashes of pink and no head. The flavor is lightly fruity, also delivering delicate cracker and white bread-like maltiness. Light to medium-bodied and lightly creamy with tingly carbonation. The flavor is both tart and bready accompanied by a slight, mixed berry component.

Tap at the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy pale reddish golden with a thin layer of off white head. Aroma and taste of malts and a hint of fruit with ample carbonation.

Bottle @ Pat’s. Orange pour with white foam. Smells mostly like water, seltzer, and raspberry syrup. Really sugary and artificial. Somewhat of a paper note, too. The flavor has a touch of grass and lemon, but otherwise it’s all seltzer and raspberry flavoring. A hint of syrup and some candy/sugar. No thanks.

Pours cloudy peach with low white head. Aroma of raspberries, light funk and bretta. Taste is modest fruity, not really sour and not really raspberries. Body is light and smooth with soft carbonation.
