22oz bottle thanks to jnkor: pour is mostly beige foam that eventually subsides into a transparent dark mahogany liquid. Has a sweet toasty dark caramel malty nose with some dark chocolate and a touch of coffee. Starts with pretty good fullness and light effervescence with sweet toasty caramel malts with some cocoa and light roastiness before a semi-sweet finish. Pretty true to style and drinkable.

The aroma is weak and sweet with some coffee, toffee, burnt malt, and chocolate. The appearance is brown with a large head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall this is like an amateurish home brew.

Pint on tap. Average pour, a little lighter color than I’m used to. "Without being heavy" in the description is an understatement - the body is TOO light for the style, in my opinion. Also, the lack of roasty and bitter flavors makes it smell and taste too sour and has only half the bitterness, no warmth. Not terrible, but hard to recommend.

Panama City Beach, Fl - Carousel Grocery Store - 22 oz bomber. Dark brown pour, light off-white head. Aroma of cocoa, hint of coffee. Good solid workingman’s porter flavor, some light milk chocolate, a hint of potting soil, just a touch of black coffee. Mouthfeel has a a touch of chalkiness which I like. Pleasantly surprised.
