Napoleon never set foot on Florida’s shores, but if he did, we’re sure he’d be looking for a way to conquer the land from coast to coast. He’d probably have some supporters - after all, the French helped settle Pensacola.
Our Li’l Napoleon was christened in the name of all short bastards - the good, the bad and the infamous. Strong and hoppy, Li’l Napoleon can sneak up on you if you let it. With a smooth caramel and honey finish, you’ll want to have a second. And probably a third.
Take time to savor the good ole days, when the French had power and Florida was a territory waiting to be developed. We reckon Napoleon would be proud of the IPA that bears his name. (Aside from his hatred of all things English, naturally).

On tap at brew pub. Resinous pine and strawberry hops aroma with a little grapefruit and light sweet caramel. Almost clear dark copper under a persistent off-white thin sheet. Classic c-hops hops flavour up front; juicy and moderately bitter. More complex passion fruit and grapefruit peel come in later. Medium body, moderate carbonation, crisp.

on tap @ Pensacola Bay / FL --- Aroma of hops and malt. Nearly clear medium orange amber, off-white head cover, strands of lace. Taste is caramel malt that bursts through sharp, quick carbonation to a solid citrus hop and malt finish. Big and bold, well-balanced, light on the stomach. A definite winner.

Big draft at Cafe One89 in FWB for CC dinner. Turned out to be a nice IPA that I took a complete chance on. Nice bitterness and sweetness at first but it turns a little flat in the finish. Good.

Sweaty sock aroma. Dank basement and just an unpleasant rotten fruit aroma and taste. This was sort of a choker.. Poured from draft at Pensacola Bay Brewery two weeks ago, rating from notes now.
