Average label on 22 oz bomber; almost clear, pink-tinged gingerale color. Tangy sour ale. Sour, fruity, dry. Light body, low bittering. Not great. Thanks, LuckyDog.

you know what? i think i would like to go to Indonesia! .. . . Popped the cap and gushed a fair bit .. . pours a ruby amber .. . sturdy foam .. . light raspberry, seeds, and jam .. . light mouth .. . decent fruited florida weisse .. . . . the great advantage of the tiger in unarmed combat is that he eats not only the raspberry-laden foe but also the raspberries.

On tap at the brewery. Nose is light berries, other fruits, bile, and ?. It looks nice with a pinkish/brown hue to it. Taste is not tart at all. Light berry flavor and a long wheat finish with a lactose-like flavor in it. Strange. Not what I expected.

22oz bottle thanks to jnkor: pours a mostly clear pale golden with a thin ring of white head. Has a mild funk and buttery malt nose with a touch of raspberries. Starts with average fullness and some grainy malts with decent raspberry character and light acidity before a mild, blander finish. Has a lot of the right characteristics of a Berliner Weisse, but nowhere near enough tartness.

Bomber thanks to Craig. Pours a bright orange/pink color with a huge gushing white head. A funky stinky foot aroma, cheese. The flavor is odd, paper, dry, light sourness, fizzy. Overall really thin, berries and some more paper.

Cloudy peach colored, fluffy white head. Aroma of raspberry, light spice, very mild acidity. Flavor features biscuity malt, earthy raspberry, some earthy funk. Fairly subdued Berliner Weisse character.

Poured from a 22 ounce bomber, thanks to Doug. Aroma of sweaty socks and raspberries. The flavor is grainy, dusty, slight raspberry. This is terrible.

Draft on tap at Hunahpus Day 2013 (Tampa, FL). Pours a nice deep amber orange hue, nice biscuity colors, some orange glow, well hazed. a frothy tannish head atop dies to a film, laces small. Aromas are a bit tart and lactic, fruit, kiss of non descript berry, some sweeter malt elements. Lactic, some yogurt, a sharper twangy feel. Initial is sweet, a bit underbodied, and a faint tartness. More biscuity and bready, some toasty qualities. Gentle biscuits, faint lemon, faint lactic acid. Mellow sourness, more biscuity and malt driven. Middle is sweet, biscuity. Backend is a touch tart. Lactic twang. Just a poor Berliner. It’s more of an Amber Ale, really. Sweeter, malty, flabby. Berry never really even shows up, sourness doesn’t either really. Meh. The beer itself is ok.. but calling it a Berliner is really just off base and misleading.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 jredmond (4002) - Manhattan, New York, USA - MAR 9, 2013
Draft at Hunahpu day with Andrew and Maggi. Pours a light reddish amber body with thin off white lacing. Aroma is light tart fruit, faint acidity and artificial cleaner. Mouthfeel is watery and thin with awful notes of soapy fruits, wheat and artificial flavors. In comparison to the rest of the fruits and Berliners pouring today, this was a big disappointment.
