It wasn’t the best amber, but it wasn’t bad at all. The malts were medium darkness giving a rich amber color. The aroma was biscuit and caramel malts with a competing hop character. The flavor was equal, with a moderate hop content and a decent balance malt. It’s drinkable and enjoyable.

Rated on 3-01-2014 at Naples Craft Beer Fest in Naples, Florida. This draft beer pours a small beige head that mostly diminished, hazy amber body, no carbonation observed, and no lacing. The aroma consist of caramel malt, toast, nutty, light toffee, and grassy hops. The taste is sweet, grain, lightly bitter, caramel malt, and nutty. The palate is very smooth and this beer is medium bodied. This beer is quaffable, a session beer and a beer I would drink again.

Pours a clear copper-amber color with a sticky, nitrogen-like, light tan head. The nose is comprised of a bit of sour milk, creamy toffee, and some light fruitiness. Moderately thick and smooth mouthfeel with a hint or two of a carbonation burn. There’s a peculiar, homebrew-like off flavor. Mellow toffee and fruitiness blend indistinguishably.

Draught at the Pensacola Bay Brewery Taproom, Pensacola, FL. Clear amber colour with a small creamy white head. Mild dry hops, malt and woody dryness in the aroma. The flavour is very dry with hops, malt and wood. Very dry for an Amber Ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
