COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Refreshing crisp beer made with 60% malted wheat and lemon grass, resulting in a grassy wheat flavor with hints of citrus. We used our Midwest malted Harrington malt, caramalt, malted wheat, and Perle hops. Well balanced beer for the end of a long days work, light and refreshing.

Fresh 12 oz. bottle thanks to queenholly. Cloudy gold with very thin white head. Nose is pleasant. Aroma and flavor mirrors each other. Sweet malt, lemongrass and malted wheat. A very light tartness. Light body with a clean finish. Decent.

Bottle. Wheat malt and orange peel aroma. Golden yellow with small head and light effervescence. Light wheat malt and moderately bitter orange peel hops flavor. Would have liked more malt.

Bottle thanks to Brigadier! Hazy light orange pour, very little carbonation and an aroma of light sweet marmalade. Although the aroma was very nice, the flavor left something to desire. Flavors were muddled lemons, pickles and vegetables. I’m hoping this was just a one off bad bottle, otherwise the brewery should really reconsider this beer,

Bottle. Light lemon and wheat malt aroma. Hazy gold with a small off-white head. Subtle wheat malt and herbal bitter lemony flavor. Medium body.

8/11/12. GTMW. Light golden pour with a fluffy off-white head. Light aroma of citrus, lemon, tangy wheat, and hints of bread, cream, and herbal aspects. Lightly sweet and tangy flavor again with citrus and lemon along with touches of breadiness and that herbal aspect. Eh.

Pours slightly hazed, amber-gold with small white head. Aroma is lightly citrusy, rather herbal.....subdued wheat tones. Taste is smooth, grassy hops and a little bread....slight bitter. A little different....nice that it’s not over-wheated, interesting.. Light and refreshing.

Draft at People’s. Pours a nice looking deep gold, faintly hazed. Nose is citrusy and fresh, light herbal/grassy hops that accentuate the lemongrass notes. Some toasty bread as well. On tasting, clean and fresh. Reminds me of a pale ale, akin to Gumballhead. Good balancing bitterness and bready wheat malt. Quite nice stuff!

12oz bottle, aroma is o mild wheat and malt. The flavor is a strange funky grassy sensation that doesnt work for me. It pours a yellowish color with no head. Strange brew number 2 tonight.

Light pour, wheaty aroma with some citrus and lemon. A nice hop profile which gives this beer some body. One of the lightest People’s beers I’ve tried and very fitting for the season.

draft at the brewery - Pours cloudy straw colored with a small white head. It smells of spicy yeast and mild wheat. The flavor is similar but also has something quite off about it. I’m getting a band aid characteristic that really doesn’t work. It’s light bodied and mildly bitter. I can’t recommend it though. They also had a version of this beer with lemon grass added. The grass was very subdued and it was hard to tell the difference between the beers with and without lemon grass.
