Refreshing crisp beer made with 60% malted wheat and lemon grass, resulting in a grassy wheat flavor with hints of citrus. We used our Midwest malted Harrington malt, caramalt, malted wheat, and Perle hops. Well balanced beer for the end of a long days work, light and refreshing.

This is a pretty decent beer, just kinda a mild blond ale w/ a hint of lemongrass to it. Itís coudy orange w/ a thin head and a bit of lace. Itís a bit earthy, dry and relatively full bodied. I would not call this monstrously flavorful but neither is there anything really wrong w/ it, which makes for a pretty solid drink.

On tap at GTMW 2015, what a waste of a pour at the festival, pours a hazy yellow with a fizzy white head, the aroma and flavor was the same, nothing, slight lemon and a little bit of grass i guess, ugh.

Can...insipid, watery beer with minimal flavor of wheat and yeast...zero lemon grass. Lame and not worth the time to drink it let alone $11 bucks a 6.

12 ouncer from Earth Fare grocery store. Pours a cloudy orange body with no head. Spotty, very loose lacing. The nose gets subtle citrus and malt. The flavor is subtler still: citrus, light yeast up front, breads, hint of pine in the finish. Full carbonation and light/medium body. Nothing thatíll knock your socks off, but refreshing and drinkable.

Another can courtesy of Trent. Thanks you! Cool! It has a ring tab that pulls the entire top of the can off. A first for me! It pours a hazy yellow orange with a 3 finger head of foam.(pulled straight from the fridge) It has a spicy nose to it. Loads of lemon grass and citrus, thinking coriander, pepper. Yeasty, wheaty, thatís a heck of a good smell. The taste follows the nose and does not disappoint. Other than what I mentioned above, Iím quite impressed with the body, mouthfeel, and drinkability. The fact that it is only 4.2% abv is icing on the cake. This is delicious.

Bottle. Hazy deep gold with orange highlights. Off-white head. Light aroma of lemongrass, grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Muddled flavors and a bit unclean.

12oz bottle, from Perfect Pour. Shared with Steph. Half hazy orange golden color. Thin off-white head. Some loose bits of lace. Kind of a lemon-creme aroma, and lightly herbal grassy flavor. Definitely get the lemongrass. I enjoy that. But the rest of this is kind of mild and average. Medium body. smooth, soft, lighter carbonation. Dry finish. Light to moderate bitter taste, light to moderate sweet, light bit of zest. Decent wheat ale. Not bad. Kind of refreshing. Light and easy drinking yet full flavored. I kind of wanted West Sixthís Lemongrass wheat to be more like this. Mild and average but not bad overall. Steph says "3.1". She says its "not that great but tastes more like it should for the type of beer that it is". Wisdom.

Hazy golden pour with a white head. Aromas of malts and subtle citrus peel. Flavor is malty upfront with some citrus in the finish. Not quite as flavorful as I would have liked from a malt standpoint but a decent brew.
