COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At 5 pounds of hops per barrel, our Double IPA is one behemoth India Pale Ale. Chock full of Nugget, Columbus and Centennial hops run through our hop-back and then dry-hopped, this beer abounds with a bold citrus flavor and a heady aroma. O.G. 1076

22oz bottle. Pours a cloudy golden amber with a white head. Nice hoppy aroma. Notes of pine and citrus with most of the flavors on the citrus side. Doesn’t match the better west coast IPAs but still pretty tasty.

22 fl oz bomber bottle on 18 November 2012. Purchased somewhere in Massachusetts (forget where) in October 2012. Golden amber with a slight haze. Just a touch papery on the nose - maybe not at its freshest but hard to tell without a best before / bottled on date. Otherwise a good solid strong IPA. Plenty of resinous and piney hops on the palate. Quite bitter on the finish with grapefruit notes lingering. Nicely dry and not at all sticky. Not a world beater but pleasantly tasty and pretty well done.

Sampled at the 2012 American Craft Beer Festival. A lot of citrusy hops, but could have more for a double IPA. Still a really good beer.
