Jun 15, 2003 Has a nice orange/amber color and a fruity/hop smell. Taste is hopped, but slightly acidic and finishes with a nice fruity/hop bitterness. Overall not a bad IPA, but a little too much acidic/grapefruit flavor.

May 27, 2002 Updated: Jan 29, 2004On tap: I enjoyed this a bit more than the cask version. This local brew was a nice change from SNPA. NERAX '02 cask: Moderate pine aroma, light orange color, slightly acidic bitter taste. Gets better as it warms. More subdued in the hops department than most American IPA's.
