Oct 2, 2008 Clear golden, poured without much head but has a nice bright color. Some diacetyl in aroma and wet socks with not enough hops to back it up. Decent, soft carbonation. Husky flavors are pleasant and fresh. Very toasty, which doesn’t match the pale malt appearance. Not offensive, it’s actually quite nice and there is no cream soda artificiality anywhere.

Aug 28, 2008 Draught. At BeerBistro - 2008 Golden Tap Awards. Clear gold pour, average white head. Smells ... not great, like malt extract with floral/weedy bitterness. The taste - what a pleasant surprise - crisp, refreshing, with clover and delicate floral hops, hardly any overbearing graininess at all. Light bodied, crisp, gently sweet, dry and quick off the palate, this was actually close to the easiest-drinking beer of the day for me.

[1025B-20080104] Tap @ Pepperwood (Burlington, ON). Creamy grain mulch aroma with a bit of soap. Clear, light orange brown body with a medium-lasting creamy white head and some lacing. Soapy creamy grains continues in the flavour with a sweet finish. Smooth medium body. Good balance of sweet and grains. (6/3/7/4/14) 3.4

Sep 19, 2006 Mild fresh malt aroma has some notes of corn and cereal and light fresh, grassy hops apparent. Clear golden coloured body topped by a low white head that recedes to partial cover. Pleasant balance between hops and malt with neither being dominant. Fair bitterness that lingers a while though cereal grains reappear. Delicate light body with medium-low carbonation. Sampled on tap at the brewpub.

Mar 5, 2006 draught. pale golden-straw with a small creamy white head. the aroma is very subtle and by no means comes out to greet you. has some bread and creamy vanilla notes. the flavour is a little bit more expressive though still not exceptional. creamy sweet grains and not a whole lot else. light and drinkable. mediocre.
