Draught sample at Pepperwood Beer Festival. Slightly hazy light amber. Light, sweet malty nose, with notes of caramel and toast. Medium bodied. Flavour is simple but good - sweet malt, hints of roast and toffee, and a nice kick of hops in the finish. Very fine stuff.

[1025-20080104] Tap @ Pepperwood (Burlington, ON). Grainy malt aroma has wood notes. Clear, orange amber body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. Tastes like PC’s vanilla ice cream with floral malt grain. Medium body. Nice smoothly balanced beverage.

On tap at the brewpub. Brown body with a decent foamy off white - beige head, some lacing. (3+) Mild fruity tones to the aroma, toasted malts, light vanilla hints come out as the glass warms. Flavour of tangy malt, moderate fruit character, lightly toasted caramel notes, sweet malt foundation. Smooth average to medium palate. (3+) Pretty nice. Theres something a bit different about it that I had trouble wrapping my head around but it was a very nice quaff. My non-beer geek friend Kim ordered a second one which probably speaks louder than anything I could write!
