Cloudy, dark amber w/ fine, creamy light beige head. Toasted malt aroma w/ notes of caramel & a hint of peat. Thick, chewy, slightly oily feel. Toasted malt flavour w/ notes of caramel, light butterscotch, dark fruit, apples, &, yes, pears. Finish is rich with alcohol warmth & slightly medicinal.
