Draft at Capital Ale House in Harrisonburg. Pours a dark brown with a red tint. Medium sized frothy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of strong currant, earth, grapes, mild spice. The taste is tart fruits, chocolate, earth. Medium bodied, slight lingering tartness.

Draft at pony bar HK with Linh. Pours a deep murky brown with off white lacing. Aroma is faint sour and a touch of earth. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of burnt roast, cherry, light sourness and some burnt rubber/plastic.

bottled. pours dark brown with a moderate tight head. aromas of alcohol esters, dark cherry, currant and touch of citrus. fairly sour, with a touch of bitterness. fairly light body, with a thin mouth feel. a lingering sour fruit and coppery feel on the palate. decent, but not one of my favorites.

Bottle @ Richard’s tasting. Copper pour with a khaki head. Really fruity nose. Raisin, currant, and slight acidity. Lemon zest, grass, and yeast. Light spices. Flavor is sweet dark fruit with some acidity and tartness. Lemon, brown sugar, currant, and raisin. Yeast, a touch of spice, and grass.

Pours dark brown. Sweet, spicy, almost beglian nose. Very sweet in the taste but mellowed out in the nose to make a nice crinkability factor. One you can enjoy.

Bottle, thanks Bob! Murky brown pour, belgian ale aroma, maybe like a belgian double. Initial taste isnt much, but then it slowly builds to a nice tart white wine sweet grape taste. Light, easy to drink and quite refreshing.

From the tap came a very dark brew with a tan head. Medium bodied with slightlt tart/malty flavor an aroma.
