Jan tasting with crew. The group was torn on this some couldnít finish, some thought was pretty good. I was middle of the road. Mint chocolate chip overpowered most everything else. Not bad, but turned out to be one dimensional and not as viscous as I would have hoped. Lingering sharp mint on the tongue. Unique though. We have the barrel aged version that will be saved for another time.

Shared 750 ml. bottle poured to snifters, displaying an opaque, black/brown hue, with deep, brownish tan head froth, and mega-cling to the lacing. The nose was roasted, and totally, mint chocolate chip. The flavor was similar, with moderate bitterness & dryness that lingered into the finish, and decent carbonation, in a medium body. Alcohol was hidden behind the tasty dessert faÁade.

Total mint chocolate chip beer. Chocolate flavor and milk chocolate texture. Lots of mint in the aroma. Bit of minty spice on the finish.

Tap pours dense near black with tall tan foam. Modest aroma of minty roasted malts. The flavor follows with a rich smooth chocolatey imperial stout and just a touch of mint. Nice sweetness and balance of it all, a couple months has done it well.

Blaack/brown pour with creamy tan head and lace. Aroma is large minty, chocolate, with a touch of coffee. Flavor is sweet chocolate, super minty, coffee, but mostly mint. A very solid beer even if mint isnít your thang. nice beer

Bottle via unknown. Pours a slightly translucent chocolate brown, slight tan head. Aroma direct and fresh, some herbal notes. Grassy, minty and some citric notes as well. Body full and roasty, very bitter in the finish. Liking, it.

Shared a bottle of this at the Swamp Head Batch 600 release. Pours pitch black and thick with a small brown head on top. Looks very rich and chocolate. Smells very rich and chocolatey, with notes of roast and mint mixed in nicely. The mint is present but not overpowering. The flavor is surprisingly good. Thick and rich chocolate, just a hint of roasty stout goodness, and an accent of light pepper mint that cleans out the palate. The mint is very slight and not overpowering and integrated very nicely. Iím told the bottles vary in terms of their mint level, but this seemed right on. Nice body on this with medium plus carbonation for the style. Really nice actually.

Bottle shared by an anonymous guy at a tasting. Opaque with a lasting film of cream on top. Smell was mint with some semi-sweet chocolate. Tastes of the same with a touch of caramel. Medium-heavy body has a smooth medium carbonation that makes this one a fine dessert beer, even though I donít particularly care for Thin Mints.
