Bottle pours a rich dark brown with a dark tan head. The aroma is a little spicy, with cinnamon. The taste is very rich, smooth with a full body. I get the cacao nibs not too much alcohol in the finish. After taste of cinnamon. Pretty good imperial stout.

Bottled. Pours dark brown. Nose is chocolate, big cinnamon, roast and some nutty touch. Taste is rather sweet. Huge cinnamon start with chocolate taking over. Well balanced although slightly on the thin side. Really good.

jet black with a dense tan hunahpu-esque head that WILL NOT DIE. Heavy cinnamon, light chocolate, chalky with green pepper accents from contrast, marshmallow sweetness. The marshmallow is right up front on profile, gritty sweetness mid with brownie and cookie batter in finish, low acidity and roast, higher sweetness than desired but balanced, cinnamon still present but cut by dry finish.

fraternie (885) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 25, 2015
Crazy aromas of cinnamon and brown sugar. Tastes like a dark cinnamon muffin, gaining subtle cocoa notes and chile spice. Powdery mocha body, ultra-complex and innovative. Suave texture.
