Whoa, lots of chiles in the nose initially. Further inspection reveals dark chocolate, roasty malt, green peppers. Taste joins the above together, failing to create a Hunahpu clone. Too much pepper character, I'll pass.

Draft at Monks. Deep dark black pour with an impressively thin wide sheet of beige lace. Good Stout flavors with an interesting balance of sweet dark malts, hops and spicy peppers. Liquorice. Graham crackers. Nice big smoky charcoal grill flavors. Black leather jacket. Tinge of sour. The peppery spiciness builds over time. Great stuff, but ruins the palate.

On tap during Madison Craft Beer Week. Dark black body. Big cinnamon spice aroma. Umm, Cinnamon Toast Crunch in a glass? Ok, so not everybody agreed with me on that statement, but to me this beer tasted like the the milk left in the bowl after eating all the Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Really wonderful.

Bottle shared @ ølbutikken. Big thanks to François-Xavier for bringing this. Aroma of cinnamon, cocoa beans, brown sugar, vanilla, chocolate and some spice. Taste of chocolate cinnamon, vanilla, brown sugar, liquorice, chili, caramel and a weak savory end.

Bottle shared at Ølbutikken. Big thanks to François-Xavier for bringing this! Pours pitch black with a medium dark brown head. Aromas of loads of cinnamon, cocoa, dark chocolate, chili fruit, spice, pepper, molasses, melted butter, some cherry-like sweetness to it aswell. Taste is melted butter, chili, dark chocolate, cocoa, lots of cinnamon, licorice, savory notes, lots of roast, chili heat finish. Damn nice!

Bottle poured in my glass at DLD 2015 by a complete stranger. This was yet another mind blowing beer I had this year. Super complex.

Draft at the Crafty Cow. Poured near black with a smoked tan head. The aroma picked up sweet chocolates, cocoa, and cinnamon with fresh, well-balanced peppery accents. The flavor found mostly cocoa at the core, with spicy anchos and cinnamon laced throughout.. never too hot, but it had a great kick on the finish. Heavy-bodied, spicy, and engaging on the palate.. great brew!

Bottled. Pours dark brown. Nose is chocolate, big cinnamon, roast and some nutty touch. Taste is rather sweet. Huge cinnamon start with chocolate taking over. Well balanced although slightly on the thin side. Really good.

Great Dark black with tan head. Cinnamon & chocolate with hint of chili peppers. Flavors unravel nicely. Great experience.

jet black with a dense tan hunahpu-esque head that WILL NOT DIE. Heavy cinnamon, light chocolate, chalky with green pepper accents from contrast, marshmallow sweetness. The marshmallow is right up front on profile, gritty sweetness mid with brownie and cookie batter in finish, low acidity and roast, higher sweetness than desired but balanced, cinnamon still present but cut by dry finish.
