Draft. Copper/orange pour, off-white head. Aroma of pear, fruity ester, bread, light dust. Taste is sweet, bready, floral, fruity ester. Palate is soft, a bit sticky, sweet finish. No detectable brett and a bit heavy for Belgian ale.

Smell of nuts and white chocoalte, interesting... Taste is similar, a very smooth and nutty brew. A bit too sweet though.

Draft. Bright golden color of bronze and orange at 4th ave pub in Brooklyn. Not what I rxpected. No Brett really. Kind of bland IMO ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750ml bottle from Binny’s Lincoln Park. Pours a lightly hazed, richer golden orange colored body with a thin, frothy, off-white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a light lacing. Aroma is somewhat sweet, bready malts with a mild brett funk, florals, Belgian yeast and clove esters, and a light spicing. Flavor is similar. Semi-sweet, bready malts with some florals, clove, Belgian yeast, a light pepper, and a mild bretty funk. The brett comes out a bit more towards the end and mixes with a few esters and a light spicing to help this finish dry, but smooth and soft from the malts. Fairly lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a slightly prickly, moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid beer. The base is still pretty dominant right now, but the brett does offer a slight funky complexity. Good one.

Pours orange with a thin white head. Aromas of grainy malt, light spice, and yeasty notes. Flavor is sweet malt, light citrus, clove and yeast. I think they forgot to put the funky brett in my bottle.

Tap pours hazy orange gold with lacing white foam. The aroma is smooth and light sweet grains with a Belgian flair. The taste is rich farmhouse musty grains and wet hay funk. Nice bright red apple and light earthy berries linger in the background. Nothing groundbreaking but lots of Brett smoothed out well. Drying finish but never completely dries out, champagneish finish.

Growler to snifter (shared with the Mrs. and the neighbors; thanks Keir). Looks good; a semi-transparent amberish-orange with off-white lacing. Smells and tastes solid; semi-sweet and yeasty with a notable Brett influence. Average on the palate. A pleasant beer.

On cask at 33 Wine. A rare miss for Perennial overall. Candied sugar, pineapple and Belgian yeast. Starts with syrupy candied sugar with orange and lemon notes finishing with Belgian yeast. Mediocre.

Tap. Pour is deep clear gold with a medium white head. Aroma and flavor with light sweet malt, light spice notes, faint banana, and light hop hints. This is a little sweet and a little spicy. Not overwhelming but clean and easy to drink. Don’t get too much funky brett notes. Solid and drinkable.
