Pour on tap at the Denver Rare Beer Tasting 2012, dark black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of dark chocolate, coffee bean, slight bourbon, oak, slight vanilla in there as well, with nice caramel and toffee as well. Taste is a nice mix of caramel, toffee, cocoa and dark chocolate, coffee, roasted coffee bean, nice oak and bourbon notes manifest also as vanilla, finishing fairly sweet and bitter.

Dogbrick (7898) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 23, 2012
Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting IV on 10/12/2012. Pours pitch black with a medium light brown head that diminishes steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, vanilla and coconut. Medium to full body with flavors of toasted coconut, burnt marshmallow and oaky bourbon. The finish is sweet coconut and coffee. Above average overall.
