Draft at the brewery. Pours the color of blueberry juice, with a negligible head, just a few bubbles around the rim. The aroma takes a while to open up, but when it does the blueberry and toasted malt notes complement one another nicely. Very subtle rye spiciness, which also goes for the flavor. Smoother blueberry on the flavor, with toast and nuts. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation. Really cool beer. I’d like to see this one again from them.
