COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A significant portion of malted white wheat in the grist provides a fluffy mouthfeel on an otherwise lean frame. Hefty late and dry-hop additions of Mosaic and Amarillo create an intense aroma of stonefruit and spice. Brettopia is Perennial’s first beer to be bottle-conditioned with a unique strain of Brettanomyces, which creates a crisp finish, racy effervescence, and a yeast character that will continue to develop with time.

Beautiful copper color with a simple nose of hops and Brett. The taste is a really nice balance of spice and earthiness with a beautiful Brett funk that is a little tart and then it finishes dry and hoppy. I really like this one! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours lightly hazy gold with a large, creamy off-white head, long retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is Brettanomyces, earthy and spicy hops, citrus, biscuit and honey malt with pear esters. Flavor is Brettanomyces, moderate hops and bitterness with fruity esters, supporting malt and a dry finish. Medium body and heavy carbonation.

Pours hazy brownish golden with a large off-white head. The aroma has fruit amarillo hops, funky earthy brett bugs, smooth caramel, spices and peaches. It has a medium crisp body with lots & lots of prickly carbonation. The flavor begins with spice and earth from the hops, basement funk and light caramel. The finish is quite hoppy and sharp. Interesting beer. Would like to try it in about 6-12 months when the hops drop down and the brett shows off a bit more.

Tasted during RBWG, thanks to phaleslu for sharing this 750ml bottle. Mostly hazy golden orange color. Big, rocky off-white head. Good lace. Nice citrusy floral bretty nose. Smooth, lightly soft, lighter carbonation. Bigger body. Zesty, light sweet taste. Solid bretty belgian!

750 ml bottle from jckp64- thanks again, John! Pours a cloudy gold color with a finger of white head. Notes of bretty funk, spices, citrus and tropical fruits, sweet bready malts, and a bit of soap. Light-medium bodied, with moderate to medium carbonation and a light, dry, bitter, funky mouthfeel. Nice lighter brett ale.

Bottle on the bus during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Pours cloudy gold with a white foam head. Tasty. Good melon and citrus fruits present, with faint brett funk and a bit of bitter, wet hay. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet to finish with more ripe melon. Nice. The brett doesn’t seem to have really taken hold just yet.

Sample at Ginger Man NYC. Cloudy golden-orange color with a medium foamy off-white head that diminishes slowly. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of funky fruit, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with a mildly funky character and flavors of ripe fruit, earthy yeast and malt. The finish is lightly tart with a fruity aftertaste. Decent overall.
