COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Munich-style Lager brewed for Farmhaus. Farmhaus chef Kevin Willmann selected this lighter style for its ability to pair well with dishes on his menu.

From notes. Tasted on 4/23/13 from a capped 750mL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a thick off-white head that leaves average lace. The nose is bready malt with some spicy, green hops underlying, and just a touch of yeast aroma. The flavor is bread up front, some spicy, bitter, green hops, and the yeast from the nose showing a bit nutty. The body is medium with average, stinging carbonation, and a medium spicy hops and lightly nutty finish.

Tap at Perennial. Very slightly hazy light orange pour with a smaller white soapy head. Sweet caramel malts. Bready. Easy drinker. Very good for the style.

Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of bread, biscuit, some soapy notes, nice malty, caramel notes, some grass and spice. Taste is a mix of grass, bread, nice sweet vanilla, honey, some yeast, finishing bitter, slightly sweet. Nice.

rich malty aroma. very full body. fantastic malt flavor, they really nailed the festbier/münchener lager flavors. not overly hoppy, a very solid amber lager.

750 ml. bottle purchased at the brewery in March. Pours a clear medium gold with a nice white head. Aroma of malt and grain. Taste is malt, wheat, caramel, spice, and a bit of hops. Very nice brew.

Pint from a bottle at Perennial. A darker honey gold pour with a kind of funky head. Light lacing remained. This beer was grainy, malty, and nicely hopped. Fruit was nice and it had a moderate bitterness. Some toastiness and a bit of caramel. Nice beer.

Bottle picked up at Perennial. Pours a copper color with white head. Grainy, earthy, bready aromas. Toast, grain flavors with a touch of bitterness at the end. Pretty nice lager.

Tasted from bottle into a snifter. It poured a mostly clear orangish-amber color with persistent creamy off-white foam and a little lace. Aromas and flavors of bread, sweet malts, caramel, faint noble hops, faint black pepper. Smooth and balanced, it tasted a bit like an Oktoberfest but fruitier with a mellow spiciness. Mild, balanced and unassuming. Good stuff.

Very cloudy brown. Thin head. Very sweet and light. Like a wheat soda. Very drinkable.
